The RAK 11-in-1 Multitool Pen Set (pack of 2) blends everyday writing with practical EDC functions like an LED light, screwdrivers, a bubble level, metric/standard rulers, a bottle opener, and a stylus, so I can handle quick fixes at a desk, in a glove box, or during light DIY without hunting down a full tool kit.
A 4.5-star average across 8,972 reviews and strong multitool category rankings help it land as a gift-ready gadget that actually gets used instead of becoming drawer clutter.
Key takeaways
- High-volume social proof: A 4.5-star rating from 8,972 reviews points to solid real-world satisfaction at scale
- Practical 11-in-1 coverage: The feature set supports quick measurements, minor repairs, phone/tablet use (stylus), and low-light tasks (LED)
- Better value with two: The 2-pack adds real value (keep one + gift one, or set up desk + glove box)
- Everyday writing durability: An aluminum body plus included refills helps keep writing comfortable and dependable for daily notes
- Use-case boundaries: It fits light-to-moderate duty; some feedback flags LED or pocket clip issues, so it’s best as an EDC helper, not a primary driver for high-torque jobs

Ratings and Popularity
I put a lot of weight on how a tool performs across thousands of real purchases, and this RAK 11-in-1 Multitool Pen Set (2-Pack) shows strong traction. It holds a 4.5-star rating from 8,972 reviews, which signals consistent day-to-day satisfaction at scale. It also ranks #19 in Multitools and #7,146 in Tools & Home Improvement, so it’s clearly moving well beyond a niche gadget.
What those numbers mean in real use
I read this kind of rating as a blend of novelty and repeat utility. These pens tend to earn their spot because they fit real routines, and I see a few common wins that explain the popularity:
- I keep one at a desk and one in a glove box, so the set format actually gets used.
- I grab it for quick fixes and measurements without hunting for a full toolbox.
- I like it as a gift because it feels clever, but it still works as a daily pen.
For anyone comparing options, I also cross-shop compact tools like RAK Pro multitool pliers or pocket carry picks like this 7-in-1 EDC multitool.

11-in-1 EDC Practicality
I keep this 11-in-1 pen in my pocket because it handles small problems fast. The LED light helps in dark corners, while the stylus tip keeps my phone clean. I use the bubble level for quick picture checks, and the metric and standard rulers make quick measurements easy. The bottle opener and Phillips screwdriver cover last-minute fixes at my desk, in the glove box, or during light DIY. For heavier-duty carry, I pair it with multitool pliers, or I stash the 7-in-1 EDC multitool in my car kit. Check current pricing and availability at Amazon here!

Build, Feel, and Writing Performance
The aluminum metal body gives this pen a confident, sturdy feel in my hand. It never feels flimsy in a pocket or bag, and the grip stays comfortable during longer notes. The writing performance stands out too. Ink lays down cleanly, starts quickly, and stays consistent, so I can move from quick checklists to longer journaling without skips. I also like the added value of 2 included refills, since I don’t have to hunt for replacements right away.
Practical carry and pairing ideas
For a tidy everyday setup, I pair it with:

Durability Considerations
I treat this as an everyday multitool pen that can handle routine knocks, not a hard-use worksite tool. A lot of owners praise the overall build quality and how it feels in hand. At the same time, durability feedback is mixed. Some reports mention the flashlight quitting within a week, and a few call out the pocket clip snapping off within a couple of days. That gap in experiences tells me to plan for light-to-moderate duty and keep a backup light if I rely on illumination daily.
How I use it so it lasts
A few habits help reduce surprises and keep the tool dependable:
- I avoid using the pocket clip as a pry point and clip it to thicker fabric or a notebook cover.
- I test the flashlight immediately and keep the return window in mind if it flickers or cuts out.
- I save higher-torque jobs for dedicated tools, or I step up to sturdier options like these multitool pliers.
- I pair it with a compact backup tool for harsher tasks, such as this 7-in-1 EDC multitool.
